New Patio

John has been wanting to build a covered patio for our backyard. He talked one of his friends (Clint McAdams) into helping him build it. It took about 3 days to get it all finished and it looks great. Now I can sit in the backyard and watch my kids play without getting too hot. I have posted some before and after shots.

Trip to Oklahoma City

For our family vacation we decided to go to Oklahoma City with the Mancini's. I went ahead and started looking up motels in the Bricktown area and thought I had found a really great deal. Let's just say, "stick with the chain hotels." That night we decided to go to incredible pizza (which is like Chucky Cheese) and the kids had so much fun. The next day we got up early and went to the zoo. It was very hot that day but everything was only 75cents. The last day there, John, the kids, and I went to check out the Oklahoma City bombing memorial. It was great! If you have not been I strongly recommend it.
