John and I went on vacation to Ruidoso New Mexico and left the kids with Mimi! We had a really great time and caught up with some good friends. We stayed for 4 nights and I was missing my boys by the second night. The boys had a great time with Mimi and poppers. They went to the water park and critter feast in Lubbock. John and I stayed at a little cabin called breezy cabin in the mountains. We went to the horse races on Thursday and Friday which was a lot of fun. We also went to the casino a couple times and won a little money! Here are a few pictures of the cabin and us on vacation.
Looks like you & John had fun and the boys. It's always good to take a 'kid break', but I am like you-I am missing Lyndon immediately!
ReplyDeleteI am happy about my move, but very nervous as well. I will be teaching Beba's classes; 1/2 day PPCD and 1/2 day PreK. I was asked to move, but could stay put if I chose. I will miss my Smart Board and teaching the same grade that Lyndon will be in, but couldn't pass up the opportunity; I have always wanted to go lower.
Thank you for your sweet comments. I will also miss seeing you all-it seems I never saw that end of the building when I was in 3rd and 4th. Things are coming together it's just a slow process as I know that you already know. One of those things you have to do because no one else can do it for you. :)
