New Mexico with Friends!!

On the week of July 4th we went to a town close to Angel Fire, New Mexico with some friends. We stayed for about a week and had so much fun. We traveled to Taos, Angel Fire, Eagles Nest, and Red River on our stay for some shopping and good time. In Taos there is a kids play store that has an awesome playground for the the kids while the parents enjoy relaxing. On July 4th we went to a huge parade in Eagles nest and it was really fun and the best parade that I have seen, so the kids had a great time. We thought the parade started at 10 a.m. but did not start till 2 p.m. so we had to shop around and waste some time. Here are a few pictures to show our fun.

Bedroom remodel

We recently finished remodeling our bedroom and I am so excited to show you the results. I am so pleased with the result and I am ready to remodel the boys room. I cannot believe how much it has changed our room. I use to hate this room but now it is my favorite. View the before and after pictures and I think you will agree that it needed to be updated. John did such a great job on the floors.

Christmas 2010 at Home

This year we had Christmas at our house before all the other parties and presents. The boys were so excited to open the gifts. They have been begging me for about a week. Keaton received some cows and puzzles. Hagan got some games and books. John got a new TV for the patio but already knew about it thanks to Hagan. John asked him what is was, after I had wrapped it, and just told him without even hesitating. It was the funniest thing and I wish I had recorded it. I received some black and turquoise nike shoes, which I love.

The boys being goofy with their blocks. I didn't even realize they had their initials on them. Hagan thought this was so funny.

Christmas Party at Miz Carols

Hagan had a party today at Miz Carols little school. He was so excited to get to open a present and to see Santa Clause. We wrapped a boy gift for someone to get and he happened to get his own which was great because that is what he wanted. He looks like he is telling Santa something good. I cannot believe that Christmas is here. It is going to be so much fun this year with the two boys. I know they are excited and cannot wait till Christmas day!!

Christmas Parade

John, Hagan, Keaton and I went to the fireman's supper to eat hamburgers and fries. After we were done, we went downtown and watched the christmas parade. It was really good and the boys loved watching the firetrucks. It was a little cold and theboys wanted to see Santa Clause but the line was way too long.

Ruidoso New Mexico 2010

John and I went on vacation to Ruidoso New Mexico and left the kids with Mimi! We had a really great time and caught up with some good friends. We stayed for 4 nights and I was missing my boys by the second night. The boys had a great time with Mimi and poppers. They went to the water park and critter feast in Lubbock. John and I stayed at a little cabin called breezy cabin in the mountains. We went to the horse races on Thursday and Friday which was a lot of fun. We also went to the casino a couple times and won a little money! Here are a few pictures of the cabin and us on vacation.

Family Pictures

We had our family pictures a couple of weeks ago and they turned out great! A few of our friends recommended this photographer, and I really thought she was great with the boys. It took about two hours but was well worth the time. Here are some of my favorite ones!!
